Olufunmi

Olufunmi, a hearty worshipper, continues to translate her love of God into our own unique style of gospel music. A leading soloist in African gospel she started singing at the age of eleven and has been loyal to the calling upon her life. For a soloist, she remarkably features in duets and trios with other artists. Reinforcing her versatility and conviction that praising her first love comes before everything else. She sings in her native language Yoruba (A Nigerian language) and English.

Olufunmi has released three albums to date; two of which were released in 2004.
She is married and managed by her husband Diran Olajoyegbe. They have two boys who are a bag of tricks and great humour. She has performed at all three previous Awesome Praise concerts in the UK and USA.
